Sacha's fundraiser for Brain Tumour Research

Dip a day in May
I aim to do a cold water dip every day in May (this will include various forms of cold water including - cold shower, barrel, sea, river, reservoir etc) and to make it a bit harder , each one with a different costume!
If you would like to come along and join me on a dip please get in touch.
My stepson Scott, was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour on the 29th of October 2021. Since then he has undergone surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to help try and rid him of cancer. Without these procedures he would not be here today. Brain tumours can be difficult to spot and Scott had to wait 10 months before it was discovered and given follow up treatment. This caused a lot of stress, upset and grief. More funding is required to help spot these things quicker at the GP

Our Vision :
To find a cure for all types of brain tumours
Our Mission:
To increase the UK investment in brain tumour research
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
