Climb for a Cause 2024: Fundraising for Washington National Park Fund, 12 August 2024
Climb for a Cause is a fundraising program at WNPF that gives climbers a once in a lifetime opportunity to climb Washington's iconic mountains while giving back to the parks.

Story

Hello! Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, some of my favorite memories are from exploring the beautiful National Parks. As I've gotten older, I've learned how much effort goes into preserving that beauty and ensuring all who enjoy the Parks stay safe. This summer, I have the opportunity to support these efforts through a fundraising climb of Mount Rainier (Tahoma). My goal is to raise $3,800 for the The Washington National Park Fund which will contribute to search and rescue operations in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. In August, this fundraising will culminate in a summit attempt of Rainier with a team of other passionate climbers. I am so excited to cross this epic adventure off my bucket list. Training starts now!

If you are able, please consider giving any amount -- I (along with future park adventurers) am so grateful for your donations!
