Story

This is going to be Jay’s biggest and hardest challenge yet!!! This will be the families 9th fundraiser in memory of Mel. Jay began fundraising when he was 7, he is now 15 and he has chosen this year to push himself more than EVER! Jay has previously done sponsored silence, swims, walk, runs, cycling challenges just to name a few.

It’s now been over 8 years since we lost Mel, she is missed so much and this is our way of repaying the care St Richards Hospice gave Mel. Mel is Jay’s Auntie and he has very fond memories of her and time they spent together.

Starting on Saturday May 27th 2023 Jay is going to complete 24 hours of Darts! He will be allowed short breaks at different times, and a 20 minute break every 6 hours, to allow him to eat, drink and rest his arms!!! As a family, the time he is having a break we will fill in for him so someone is always throwing darts!!

Jay will also invite friends and family to come and challenge him or support him during the 24 hours! Also if anyone knows of any professional dart players who’d like to come along to support Jay I’m sure he’d love that!!!
