Story
My beautiful mother Muriel lost her fight to Cancer in May 2022 and Marie Curie supported my family and mother in the last few weeks of her life. The staff at Marie Curie do not get enough recognisation for their care, support and loving spirit. Marie Curie continue to support me as i start a new path without my mother present. I am so thankful to be supported by such caring individuals.
I have chosen a wonderful charity – Marie Curie.
Marie Curie Nurses work on the front line, night and day, in people’s homes across the UK, in hospices, hospitals, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support that myself and my family have needed. No words can explain what this charity does.

Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
