We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

After battling with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia for 12 years, dad's condition worsened considerably in 2024 and he passed away on Saturday 16th March. Whilst treatments are improving, there were little options available other than to conduct regular blood tests and transfuse which in the end, just wasn't enough. He was a brilliant, bright individual, and I want to raise funds for Blood Cancer UK in his memory, and do something useful with all this grief.

I appreciate times are tough and purse strings are tight, but anything you can give will be so appreciated.

I'll be running with my congenital stomach issues and surgical scars, so it really will be a challenge!

Blood Cancer UK:

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
