We provide support and care to adults with acquired brain injuries

Story

Having competed in Kayaking for many years it's fantastic to finally be putting my skills to use and raising money for such a fantastic cause.

On Good Friday, April 18, myself and 9 other kayakers will be paddling from Arley at the border of Worcestershire in the north on the River Severn, all the way to where the river exits Worcestershire, near Tewkesbury. In total we will be kayaking 38 miles in the day.

We're hoping to raise £1,000 each - £10,000 in total for Headway Worcestershire a local, independent charity dedicated to supporting adults impacted by acquired brain injuries throughout Worcestershire. They provide specialised services, information, and support to survivors, their families, and caregivers.

Their vision acknowledges that every brain injury is unique, affecting individuals differently. They strive to recognise each person's distinct needs and tailor their support accordingly.
