I will be running the Manchester half marathon in October along with my wife Jessica and a few close friends to raise money for this great charity.

The reason for doing this, is that in November 2023 my mother Debbie was diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 3 breast cancer. Since then she has undergone 2 major surgeries and is now receiving 18 weeks worth of chemotherapy which will then be followed by radiotherapy.

Running 21.1k is really putting myself out of my comfort zone, but this is nothing compared to what 1000’s of people are going through with this awful illness.
