Story
For more than three decades, the OPA has been at the forefront of the battle against oesophageal and gastric cancers. Their primary mission is to provide assistance to patients, families, and caregivers while promoting awareness about these types of cancers and their prevention. Whether you are in the early stages or further along in your journey, the OPA is dedicated to offering support and guidance.
My dad Daniel McGrory was diagnosed with Oesopageal cancer 13 years ago and it was only the fact he got lucky with an early diagnosis after having difficulty swallowing that he was operable and Mr Grant Fullarton his consultant could operate and save his life. Most of the time with Oesophageal, the cancer is too far progressed to operate. This is the fastest rising but most underfunded of all cancers.
Lets SMASH the £3k target and literally help save more peoples lives! Do it 💪❤️
