Story
On Sunday November 3rd, I will be running in the New York City Marathon in partnership with the JDJ Charitable Foundation to raise awareness for the cancer and power wheelchair communities.
The foundation was founded in 2018 by my good friend James Blauvelt following the passing of both of his parents from long fights with cancer.
The JDJ Charitable Foundation has a broad reach and provides aid to a wide variety of charities and causes.
From financing playgrounds at schools, serving the homeless at soup kitchens, donating wheelchairs, and participating in cancer research fundraising, they pride themselves on lending a hand to those in need whenever they can.
I've had the privilege of being involved with JDJ for a number of years now. One of their initiatives I am particularly passionate about is their wheelchair donations. I love the charity and the good work they do. It's truly an honor to wear their bib on race day.
Every dollar donated will have a direct impact and be put towards helping a family in need. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
