Story
Ohms Law's great front man Chris has sadly been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Needless to say the band, his family and all his friends are heartbroken and feel helpless in this situation. For those of you who know Chris or have had the pleasure of meeting him, you'll know he's is genuinely one of the most nicest, generous man you will ever wish to meet. So, we have done the only thing that we are good at and planned a great fundraising gig of the year!
The event is taking place at The Wolversdene Club Hayward Suite, Andover on Sat 30th March '24. Enjoy music from acts such as Ohms law, One in the Chamber, Rewind Forward, 303, Covergirlz, Georgie Amelia, Blonde Faith and The Cover Ups.
All artists are playing for free so we only ask that you all dig deep for this incredible charity. Even if you cannot attend the gig, please give generously and show your support for Chris and the cause.
The gig is advertised on the Andover Gig Guide (Facebook), if you are definitely going please click the 'Going' button on the event page and make sure you turn up as there are limited places!
The cause is The Countess of Brecknock Hospice which provides respite and palliative care to adults suffering from life-limiting illness who live in Andover and its surrounding villages or who have a connection with the area, together with comfort and support for their families, friends and carers.
They are hugely reliant on voluntary donations to maintain the exceptionally high standard of services and care we provide. Put simply, if we don't support the Hospice, it won't be there to help when it is needed.
Please share this fundraiser far and wide!
