Story
One evening last year, my good friend said she would like to run London Marathon for her 50th birthday year. We had some luck, got our places and decided to run for Cancer Research Wales.
Unfortunately half way through our training plan, Jo became very unwell, and after a few months of illness, reluctantly pulled out.
I've continued (and luckily found another local LM runner to train with) The hardest part is finding time in amongst the craziness and commitments of modern day life. I've moaned a little, tried to follow a plan and on the whole stayed injury free. Slight hip niggle but weekly sessions in the gym and few visits to a physio has put this right.
Thank you for the support it really is very much appreciated.
I will be doing this in memory of my best friend Mel who always said she was going to watch me on the TV whilst sat in her trainers and for Jo's father, both sadly passed away in February this year.
