Neurology Academy Education provider to the NHS is raising money for MS Together
Story
There are a group of us taking part in 130K for the 130K to raise money for MS Together as part of team Neurology Academy
It’s estimated there are over 130,000 people living with MS in the UK. So we’ll be running, walking, cycling, swimming 1600 kilometres throughout the month of May to raise money for the young people diagnosed with MS who are supported by MS Together.
MS Together is a new UK-based charity that exists to support services of advice and support to people affected by MS, with a particular focus on those aged 18-35 living with MS.
“We enable connections to be made through our peer to peer support service, we organise a number of different virtual and in person events, and we empower people to share their stories, advocate for themselves and live their best lives, despite their MS.”
Ruth, our head of nursing is a trustee for the charity, and the entire team support education in MS for NHS healthcare professionals through our academies
