Story
Charity fundraiser Club Peloton is organising the Cycle to MIPIM to raise money for three charities to make lives better for young people. The three charities are Coram Adoption, Cyclists Fighting Cancer and the Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust). *More info below.
Ruth will join the Cycle to MIPIM seven day riders who started in London, at Auxerre, south of Paris, to complete the challenge to Cannes over, a slightly more gentle, four days (covering at least 520km…).
That sounds wonderful right?! But it means training in the deepest darkest northern winter and so far there has been wind, rain, freezing fog and more rain 🥶 (oh and some beautiful sunrises and sunsets!).
All donations to support the three charities are very welcome. The charities get involved with:
Coram
* recruiting families for 1,150 children waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes
*assisting 500 families with post-adoption support
Cyclists fighting Cancer
*awarding 800 bikes, tandems, and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer
*supporting research to illustrate the relationship between physical and mental wellbeing and physical activity in children surviving cancer
Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust
*tackling the root causes of violent street crime through 18 amazing projects
