Story

Some of you may know Jim Playle (Pigman) who is a long time supporter of the club & was a member of the clubs first board when it was created in 2011.

Jim's wife Karen who used to help as a moderator on the old club's unofficial message board on the rdfcnet website, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2023 & Jim is now her full time carer.

Karen & Jim have both been supported by the Bedfordshire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The club reached out to Jim to see if there was anything they could do to help & he requested a collection & awareness day to help raise funds to support the Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire Groups.

The club will be holding a charity collection day for MND at their home match on Saturday 28th September.

All monies from the collections will be equally shared between the Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire MND Groups.
