RUSH 2The DEN believes in 'Inspiring young people to achieve' from birth to adulthood to support young people's development offering opportunities to gain, increase and develop skills. knowledge and confidence.

We now have the BUILD fundraising task!

Each charity is trying to raise their share of the next stage of the amazing build project, putting an upstairs into the the building to enable us to help more than our current annual coverage of 6300 people in our community per year - every donation will help.

RUSH 2The DEN Tots and Adults is a unique friendly independent children's centre providing daily activities for babies and little ones up to school age and their adults to come and enjoy their quality time together.

Available as a drop in basis, open from 9.15am to 2.45pm to alleviate the stress of trying to get to a group for an hour or so at a specific time with a little one or ones with a friendly warm welcome and professional help on hand if needed.

RUSH 2The DEN Youth Club caters for our local schoolies during age related evenings (and their families) our youth club ages are 5:7's, 8:10's, 11:14's currently combined with our 15:17's, Freedom (Primary SEND), Freedom Fliers (Senior SEND) AEGIS (LGBTQ+ support group). Each youth club aged group is run independently with their own dedicated team of volunteers, trained and first aid qualified DBS checked leaders. the young people not only enjoy their evenings of crafts, games and activities, but also amalgamate regularly with the other ages on camps, at discos and other amazing opportunities and events run by our leaders.

Our aim is to raise a further money towards our build target... this will give an additional floor housing a 2nd hall, counselling room, 2x family rooms and much needed storage for the equipment we hold for all the sessions.

This new upstairs secondary hall will provide the space needed for additional children's speciality groups during the daytime, such as home schooled meetups, adult social groups such as Crafting etc to reduce isolation. During the earlier mornings and evenings older young people to drop in before and after school while waiting for their parents to return home from school (off the streets) in a warm, safe environment, enabling them to have a drink and snack after their school finishes a place they can do their homework or sit and chat with friends with games and activities available. Evening times, this space would then be able to support additional youth clubs for our young people and increase our support groups for our SEND and LGBTQ+ groups and enabling our 11:14's and 15:17's currently amalgamated groups their own unique times / areas

The addition of the Family and Counselling Rooms will enable those already using our existing 3 rooms (The Snug, IndepenDENce Room and Main Hall) their specific room space, soundproofed, equipped and decorated for their specific needs, giving back the Baby Snug Sensory time for our babies and SEND groups and the IndepenDENce Room for our NEET young people to learn the skills needed for their adult independence.

We know there is a need... we already do this, but we could be even more effective in our support for our community with this additional space!

Our aim is to raise a further £10,000 as part of our £100,000 build target, but we can't do this without your help so we can help our community when and how they need us
