Story
Just over two years ago, we lost one of our graduates, Lily-Rose, to cancer. We hired Lily-Rose whilst she was studying physics at Manchester University. She was fascinated by her studies - curious and engaging, but most of all she had a quiet determination. Given her diagnosis and the horrible illness she was fighting, to have achieved a first class degree and started her career in banking was a remarkable achievement.
We all still think of Lily-Rose and her courage often. So, a handful of Berenbergers (Dave, Laz, Hoggy and Burty), have decided to raise some money for a related charity, chosen by her family. On May 18th, we will be "running" over a mountain in the Lake District. Specifically, 25km over 900m of ascent as part of the Keswick Mountain Festival. The training has been going OK...ish...as you can see from our cover photo. Wish us luck!
The charity is Sarcoma UK. We appreciate any support you can provide. Berenberg will also be making a contribution.
