I am privileged to be raising funds for the amazing Street Child charity as part of my participation in the 2024 Berlin Marathon! The charity is doing incredible work to support young people to transform their lives through access to education in the most marginalised populations in over 22 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. 

It’s so easy to take for granted our access to education and how that shaped our journey and options in life. However sadly, the reality is that millions of children around the world will be trapped in poverty with their options limited from birth. Making a small donation today could be more powerful than you could ever imagine.

STREET CHILD'S IMPACT IN NUMBERS:

-1,057,534 Children reached.

-468,575 were directly supported to access education.

-157,929 Adults have been reached through programmes such as the family business scheme, education classes and teacher training.

-807 Schools have been supported either through construction or renovation to improve learning environments and 512 temporary learning spaces constructed in emergency contexts.
