I am so proud to be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Cynthia Spencer Hospice, In memory of my Mum.

In 2016, my beautiful mum lost her fight with Kidney Cancer. My Mum, Emily, was the most inspirational mother for me and my two lovely siblings, George and Helena.

In the last month of her life, the care that Cynthia Spencer provided was incredible. They provided so much comfort to her and to us as a family. The nurses are such special people. They met all of her medical and emotional needs They gave us as a family warmth, friendship and understanding delivered with a cup of tea and a biscuit. Cynthia Spencer supported us so that we never felt alone.

It didn’t stop when we lost our mum, we remained important to them.

My Family and I will forever be grateful and I make it my mission to make sure everyone knows just how special the Cynthia Spencer Hospice is.
