Colleagues at RSM UK are raising vital funds for UNICEF UK to support their efforts to provide humanitarian aid to families and children affected by conflict and natural catastrophes over recent months.
Innocent people are suffering in both Israel and Gaza and are losing their homes, loved ones and lives in these events. We are raising money to support the desperate humanitarian need.
On Friday 8th September a devastating earthquake struck Morocco. Thousands of people have been killed and many more injured. Buildings have been damaged and destroyed in Morocco’s towns and remote mountain villages. It’s the strongest earthquake to hit Morocco since the 1960s.
A powerful storm in Libya caused two dams to collapse and catastrophic flooding in the northeast city of Derna. 300,000 children are affected, and numbers are rising.
On Saturday 7 October a 6.3-magnitude earthquake and several strong aftershocks shook western Afghanistan, killing over 2000 people and injuring many more. Several hundred homes collapsed, and people were trapped under the rubble.
In an emergency, children are always among the most vulnerable. UNICEF is working round the clock to respond to the urgent needs of the children and families whose lives have been devastated by these events.
The RSM UK Foundation will match fund all donations received through the JustGiving page up to a value of £50,000.
RSM in the UK, and Globally, is a diverse organisation which our colleagues are proud to be part of. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or racism, of any kind. This is an appeal for humanitarian aid and any political comments will be removed from the site.
