Sir Andrew Strauss and Sir Alastair Cook opened the batting 99 times together for England and they scored a combined 19,509 runs throughout their international careers.

They faced some of the fastest, most hostile bowling while batting for England but now they are about to face an even greater challenge: running the brutal 26.2 miles of the London Marathon on Sunday 27 April to raise vital funds for the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

Andrew and Alastair are challenging themselves to raise £19,509 for the Ruth Strauss Foundation to match the combined total of the runs they scored for England.
