Story
Roya is a rock star. While her school was participating in the move a thon on campus, her class was on a field trip camping, visiting museums in SF, and walked the Golden Gate Bridge like the champs they are. MBCS continues to provide wonderful field trips and experiences for their students. This was one of many. They got to rock Yosemite this fall too.
Monterey Bay Charter School is a tuition-free public school using the core principles of Public Waldorf Education aligned to the state standards.
The schools emphasis is a solid academic foundation, artistic expression, and social / emotional development. A holistic, arts-integrated approach to learning emphasizes the childs relationship to the natural world thereby promoting respect for the environment and humankind. The goal is to nurture the whole child with the objective of enabling students to become self-motivated, competent life-long learners.
As a public charter school, Monterey Bay Charter School receives less government funding than public schools. We rely on annual giving, fundraisers, and grants to achieve our annual fundraising goal. Thank you for supporting our school programs which directly benefit our students.
