Story
We have chosen the Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association as our next headline charity and will be supporting them over three years (2024-2026).
We made the decision to offer support for this length of time to ensure our efforts raise a significant amount of money that will benefit local people living with MND.
To this end, we are donating £10,000 each year to the Isle of Wight Branch, with the all donations showing on this JustGiving page.
We sincerely hope that you can help us raise as much money as possible on top of this, all all donations mainly going towards running the schemes we have jointly launched:
Freedom travel – Getting you there with care
Let's make it happen – Support for the comforts that make a house a home, inside and out
Let's make some good times – Support for special moments and rewards
This is a charity that is very close to our hearts and one that desperately needs support.
It is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations, so fundraising and raising awareness are paramount.
It exists with the sole aim of supporting all those on the Isle of Wight who are affected by MND, including their carers and families.
MND is life-shortening: it kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis and there is currently no cure.
