Story
Welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Ross Macfarlane, and I'm on a mission to complete the World Marathon Majors while making a meaningful impact for a cause close to my heart.
I embarked on this incredible journey after experiencing firsthand the compassionate care provided by Marie Curie to my Aunt Neiliann during her final days. Their unwavering support not only comforted our family but also inspired me to give back in a meaningful way.
I've already conquered the Chicago, Tokyo, and London marathons, and now I'm gearing up for the next challenges... running more marathons! I aim to complete the Berlin, New York, and Boston Marathons by April 2025. Each step I take is fueled by the memory of Aunt Neiliann and the countless others who benefit from Marie Curie's vital services.
My goal is to raise 5000 GBP to support Marie Curie in continuing their essential work. Your donation, no matter how small, will directly contribute to providing care, comfort, and dignity to individuals and families facing terminal illness.
Together, we can make a difference. Join me on this marathon journey and help us reach our fundraising goal!
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. They bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
