Story

Recently my amazing dad got diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time after 8 years in remission. So I’ve decided to run the Manchester half marathon in October to raise some money for cancer research!

8 years ago he beat cancer for the first time after undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Cancer research plays a pivotal role in advancing these treatments and ultimately saving lives. He is currently undergoing treatment that wouldn’t have even been possible just afew years ago and so I wanted to give something back to this amazing charity!

This is a charity that means a lot to me and my family. I imagine most people reading this knows someone who has suffered or is currently suffering from cancer and understands how important it is that we support and fund these charities so they can continue to improve treatments. Any donations would be appreciated🎗️🤍
