Story
On 17 October 2024, I’ll be taking part in Hospiscare’s Firewalk – and it’s going to be hot, hot, hot! I’ll be braving the blaze and walking on embers reaching temperatures of 1,200 degrees, all to raise funds for my local hospice, Hospiscare.
Hospiscare are a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left.
Hospice are currently supporting my beautiful mother who heartbreakingly has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Hospice have been fantastic and without their support, we would really struggle.
Hospice are struggling to find the support they are providing to families meaning they are reducing their service. No one should have to face one of life’s most difficult journeys alone. So please, if you can, make a donation today and help ensure Hospiscare can continue to be there for our community, now and in the future. Thank you!
