Campaign by Jessie May (RCN 1086048)
Go the extra mile for Jessie May this February! Get moving and cover 30 miles however you can- walking, wheeling, running, swimming it all counts. That’s a mile a day and a little extra one to ensure that Jessie May nurses can be there, always.

Story

Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home is a charity that provides exceptional palliative care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, in their own homes.

Over the last decade, more and more children have been referred to Jessie May than ever before. Their medical needs have become ever more complex and as a result, the clinical care Jessie May nurses provide is becoming more specialist, especially at end-of-life.

Today their team of nurses delivering care in the home stands at 16, to fund just 1 of them costs from £41,000.

Going the extra mile this February by taking on 30 miles in 29 days, will help to ensure that Jessie May nurses can be there for children and their families, at every point in their journey.

Each member of Team Nine Feet Tall will be aiming to complete 30 miles each of their chosen method and would love your support through donations and encouragement!

Thank you for all your support, it will make a huge difference!
