Story
I am running the Cambridge Half as part of 'Team Tom'.
Tom's Trust is a charity, started in Cambridge, which provides vital clinical psychology to children with brain tumours and this year we are running through history to change the future for those children.
This charity is very close to my heart. It was set up after my dear childhood friend Tom, died of a brain tumour, aged 9.
Tom’s parents have build an incredible legacy for Tom and I know he would be so proud. It has been 13 years since Tom died. Now more than ever I am so keen to celebrate and remember Tom.
I will be running the streets of Cambridge to raise money for vital clinical psychologists, who will support families following a child’s devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour. Tom's Trust are the UK’s only charity dedicated to this mission, with hundreds of families being helped every year thanks to you, our generous donors.
Tom's Trust children will each be representing a different landmark along the route and I will be thinking of them every step of the way while we change these children's lives.
I am so excited to be running for Tom and support this amazing charity and ensure no child or family has to go through such a horrifying experience without professional support.
Please give generously to support us, your help means we can change the future. Thank you.
