Story
Million Makers is an innovative entrepreneurial challenge which sees teams of employees, from organisations across the UK, competing to raise as much as possible from an initial seed funding investment. The challenge collectively raises over £1 million every year to change the lives of young people across the UK.
As part of the Team Atos 2023 Million Makers Challenge, I will be running the Richmond Run Fest Half Marathon on Sunday 10th September, raising vital funds for The Prince's Trust.
About The Prince’s Trust
The Prince’s Trust is an extraordinary charity that believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they are facing. The Prince’s Trust help young people facing the greatest adversity by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. Last year, The Prince’s Trust helped over 60,000 young people get into jobs, education, and training.
Examples of how your donation will make a difference:
£5 could pay for an English qualification for one young person, unlocking unlimited potential.
£10 could provide a young person with an employability mentor, empowering them to access life-changing career opportunities.
£20 could give two young people the chance to speak to our helpline and get the critical advice they need in a time of real uncertainty.
£50 could give a young person an online session with a youth worker, building their confidence, resilience, and motivation.
£100 could give one young person struggling to make ends meet with a laptop, unlocking unlimited opportunities.
£500 could support a young person with a connectivity support package, providing them with the equipment they need to stay connected.
£1000 could fund a day of speed interviews, getting 35 young people front of potential employers and giving them the potential to access rewarding careers.
