Story

On 20th October 2023, our world fell apart when my lovely dad passed away from liver cancer. He had only been diagnosed in the February, and fought bravely during those 8 months.

My dad received end of life care in Dove House Hospice, and the care and compassion the hospice staff showed me, my dad and my family was second to none. I cannot thank them enough for all they did!

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work that Dove House Hospice do, so I wanted to raise money for them as part of my participation in the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2024. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button.

Dove House Hospice only receive 10% of its funding from the Government. They rely heavily on donations from the public to keep this vital service going. The service is free for patients in the Hull and East Riding areas, but it's not free to run.

The more people that know about Dove House Hospice, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means the world!

This is for you dad.

Love,

Rosie
