Story

Hi all,

Every year I do a fundraiser for my birthday for the Sick Children's Trust in memory of Emily Pattison who passed away in 2018 and this year is no different.

As many of you know, we tragically lost lovely Grace Nevens on 4th November 2024. Grace volunteered with Mind despite struggling with her own mental health. I would love to honour both Grace and Emily this year as two people who mean very much to me.

Grace and I used to get the bus to Newcastle everyday so that we could attend our actor training at Newcastle Theatre Royal. My Mum has come up with the idea for me to walk from Mafeking Roundabout in Morpeth (Grace's stop) to the Newcastle Theatre Royal, with a stop at St James Park for Emily who was NUFC mad!

I'll be doing the walk on Monday 2nd December. It's around 15 miles and should take about 7.5 hours.

If you could spare any pennies for one or both causes, it would mean the world. If you didn't know Grace and Emily, they were two of the kindest people I have ever met and cared deeply about the people around them. It is an honour to fundraise in their memory x

About the charity
