Story
On the 4th or 5th April (weather depending), my colleague Frances and I are walking the Dee to the Sea, a 31.5km walk from Banchory to Greyhope Bay. We both work for Greyhope Bay and developed the idea of Dee to the Sea and loved it so much we wanted to do it - problem is, we need to run it on the day. So, we're doing Dee to the Sea the week before so we can enjoy the challenge & raise some funds.
Dee to the Sea is fundraising to help Greyhope Bay continue offering our community programme.
The Greyhope Bay Centre opened in 2022, as a completely off-grid centre and café based at Torry Battery, Aberdeen - one of the best places in the UK to see bottlenose dolphins. The Greyhope Bay community programme helps people learn about the local area, meet new people & socialise, learn new skills, connect to nature, and make a positive difference in Aberdeen.
By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping us continue running our community programme and teaching people new skills, growing a community, improving people's well-being, and making positive change in the local area.
