Event: Miscarriage Association Miles that Matter 2024, from 1 June 2024 to 30 June 2024
For the M.A., every pregnancy loss matters, and during June we'd like our supporters make their miles matter too, by taking on a 50 mile challenge in memory of their own loss, or in support of someone they know who’s been through pregnancy loss.

Story

Roughly 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage and roughly 1 in 100 women will have 3 or more miscarriages in their lifetime. Unfortunately I am part of the 1%, and we have lost multiple pregnancies in the past year and a half.

Miscarriage is still a taboo subject and many people don’t know what to do or say when they hear someone has miscarried. The Miscarriage Association help make things a bit easier by providing invaluable information and support, in the form of a helpline, information and a forum.

We’ll be taking on a 50 mile walking challenge during June, which we plan to do across two/three weekends. By supporting this campaign you will be helping us to help the Miscarriage Association to continue their work throughout this year and beyond.

We’re hoping to raise awareness and start conversations about the issues surrounding pregnancy loss, signpost people to the services the Miscarriage Association offer, and raise funds to ensure that they can continue to be there for those that need them most.

Thank you for your support.
