Please join us as we support our board member , Carolyn, who had the privilege of being the Daytona Beach Easter Seals Ambassador in 1974. Here is her story:

Easter Seals had a positive impact on my development 52 years ago, my life long success, and my academic achievements.

Although I am mostly retired now, I worked for 30 years in the private sector implementing programs to help adults with significant disabilities obtain/retain employment and manage their own home. I have a Master’s Degree and certification as a Vision Rehabilitation Therapist with an additional certification as a Work Incentive Counselor.

I currently participate on the Yes! You’re Invited Board sponsoring inclusive birthday parties for kids with disabilities or those who may not have the financial stability to experience a party with their peers. Some of our sponsees and participants also benefit from services from the Easter Seals of North East Central Florida.

To this day, I have positive memories of my learning experiences, teachers, and physical therapist. I will forever be grateful for the services I received. Please consider donating and/or joining me and the Yes! You’re Invited! Team to support the ongoing mission of the Easter Seals.
