Story

A marathon 26miles!

On the 21st September, I will be walking the full 26 miles along Marriott's Way with a few of my fellow OneAgency colleagues. This is a challenge in itself because as much as I love walking, I don't think I have walked more than 17miles in a day so this is going to be tough.

A little about Norfolk and Waveney Mind

We support the people of Norfolk and Waveney with their mental health and wellbeing through our network of wellbeing centres, talking therapies, residential programmes, social groups, specialist programmes and mental health training. From prevention support to crisis support, wherever you are on your mental health journey, we are here for you.

Our ambition is to ensure that no one has to face poor mental health alone and with the right support and resources anybody can create a life that feels meaningful to them.

Previous fundraising activity - 9th June

On Sunday 9th June, I cycled 94 miles of the East Anglian coastline alongside 3 of my work colleagues, as part of the Norfolk and Waveney Mind Three Countries Seven Piers Challenge. The route will wind its way along the beautiful Suffolk coast, whilst at the same time our pedal power will hope to raise vital support for Minds mental health services.

I have not personally been affected but I know a few people close to me have, and this is my opportunity to support everything that Mind do.
