Story

I started my animal rehabilitation journey volunteering at Woodside Animal Centre 6 years ago! I've always wanted to set myself a challenge to work on my running and get fit and figured whats better than doing it to help raise money for such a good cause that I truly believe in! Thats why im going to be taking part in the Run Leicester 10k to raise money for the upkeep of Woodside as well as hopefully build awareness to animal welfare and the cats and dogs at the centre that need rehoming!

About the charity

RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes hundreds of neglected and abandoned animals each year. We receive no funding from the government or the central RSPCA, relying on the generous support of the public and local businesses to keep the centre running
