Team skydive and 14 mile walk, 16 June 2023
For Mental Health Awareness Week our incredible team of supporters are taking to the skies and braving a skydive in support of good mental health for all.

Story

This May in the Coop we are raising money for Mental Health Awareness Week (15th -21st May) with a team walk and skydive! The theme this year is anxiety. We can all feel anxious at times and for some, anxiety can become debilitating. At Rooster Punk we’re committed to building a work culture where we lift each other up, put wellbeing first, and feel safe to talk about how we’re feeling.

Our hope is that by talking about our stories, supporting each other, and raising money for the Mental Health Foundation, we will help others in our B2B community too!

On 18th May five of our team will be doing a sponsored skydive in Kent. For some this is facing a fear, for others it’s a bucket list thrill of a lifetime. The rest of the team will be on the ground cheering and taking pictures so keep your eyes peeled for the evidence!

On 16th June we’re walking over 300,000 steps with our team, as we walk 14 miles along the Seven Sisters cliffs.

We’re hoping to raise over £3,000 for mentalhealth.org.uk and we are asking if you would be kind enough to donate towards our cause. We'd appreciate any donations, as every little helps.

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.
