We provide educational and pastoral support to improve lives of vulnerable children

Story

The purpose of Rome's Annual Christmas Appeal is to raise funds for the Andrew Reed Foundation, set up by our founder to support the education of children who face challenging social and domestic circumstances.

Rome's Annual Xmas Appeal is the brainchild of Richard Garrett, a former teacher and passionate supporter of the Foundation. Richard is well known amongst the Old Reedonian (OR) community for his work in supporting disadvantaged children. Many have benefited from the care and education he provided whilst at Reeds. In his inimitable style, Richard has worked tirelessly to build an endowment fund which - to-date - has raised a remarkable £246,965 for the Andrew Reed Foundation.

Please do give generously and we do totally understand if you want to make the amount you donate anonymous. However please leave a message for Richard, so he can thank you for your support. He, like the children that benefit from the excellent work of the Foundation, will be extremely grateful.

If you'd like to be part of the wider OR network, you can support this cause further by joining us for the annual Club Rome Lunch in London on 06 December 2024. Click here for more details: https://networkreeds.org/ocd.aspx?action=showReunion&reunionName=E115
