Story

I am excited to share that I will be running the 24 Hour Offa’s Dyke Ultra on 11th and 12th of May this year in the loving memory of my dad who we sadly lost to cancer last Christmas. Sincerely there are no words to describe the void he left in our hearts. His presence had a positive impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him as his kindness, wisdom and generosity touched and shaped our lives in so many ways.

I count on him to be my guiding star throughout this journey that is running nonstop for 24 hours following the National Trail starting on the North Wales Coast at Prestatyn at 12 pm on 11/5/24, as the finish line is unknown to me yet with the cut-off time being at 12 noon on 12/5/24.

In doing so, my goal is to raise the sum of £500.00 in order to support Hope House Ty Gobaith, who put the needs of the children and their family at the heart of everything they do. They care for children and support families from diagnosis and continue for as long as they are able to provide the right care and support for them. There is no loss crueller than the death of a child. When a child is diagnosed with an incurable condition your heart breaks and your world falls apart. Facing that journey alone is terrible. You feel so helpless, often isolated in pain and grief. This must stop.

To make this campaign a success I rely on your generosity to help reach my goal of £500.00 or more and continue making a positive impact as your contribution, no matter the amount, plays a vital role in stopping families suffering on their own.

Together we can create lasting change for children and families.

Thank you!
