6 weeks to go until I compete in the iconic London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025- I'm honoured to be running for the amazing Sobell House Hospice Charity.

Training is progressing well. I'm now up to 30km for my long runs. The Coopah running app is also guiding me for interval training, speed play, and strength and conditioning.

There are several of us hoping to raise vital funds to help support Sobell House hospice. Our fundraising efforts will ensure that the hospice can be there for people of Oxfordshire when they really need it most and to support their loved ones.

My wife Nikki is a Community Palliative Care Nurse for the Oxford Health Trust, but she’s also worked on the ward at Sobell House. I love her dedication, commitment and compassion for her clients and I doubt there are many places quite like Sobell House that give dignity and love at the most difficult time of a person’s life. It’s a privilege to run for Sobell House, to play a small part in enabling this amazing charity to continue.

£727 could pay for a day’s care for a patient on Sobell's specialist in-patient unit where they will be cared for with compassion and kindness.

£1,058 could fund Sobell House and all palliative care services both in the Hospice and the community for a whole hour, supporting up to 650 patients at any one time.
