On 9 May 2024, 49 students and staff will be bravely abseiling from 160 metres on the iconic Brighton i360! This amazing event will be to raise funds for the Y9 charity of the year, Raystede. Please support our students and staff in this epic event!

Roedean Y9's charity for the year is Raystede! All the students are passionate about making a difference in our local community and are keen to support a local animal charity. Raystede is a charity that aims to give animals a better life through rehoming, rehabilitation and sanctuary, and give people the support and knowledge they need to treat animals with care and respect. Raystede is Sussex’s biggest animal welfare charity, with nearly 70 years’ experience of caring for and rehoming animals. Uniquely, we care for a huge range of animals - from dogs, cats and donkeys to rabbits, parrots and alpacas.
