Story

On 14 September, a group of ageing Roehampton legends will come together for a very special game of football where we will be raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The inspiration for this has been Gemma Enticknap (who some of you will know as Laurence’s very patient wife). Gemma was diagnosed with cancer late last year and was supported through her treatment from MacMillan in Portsmouth. Words can’t do justice to what they’ve been through, but following treatment, and with the support of the amazing MacMillan staff, Gemma did get the best possible news recently when she was given the all clear. It’s Gemma and Laurence’s wish that we raise money to ensure families continue to get the well needed support from this incredible charity.

We have two asks - firstly anything at all you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Secondly it would be great to see as many of you as we can on the day. As well as those playing we’ve got family and friends coming to watch so feel free to bring mates, partners and kids with you. Details of the line ups and venue in the photo attached to this page.

A unique opportunity to see a group of ageing has been’s, roll back the years (and the stomach fat) for an amazing cause.
