16 of us are taking part in a Born Survivor event to fundraise for Everyone Can - an amazing Manchester based technology charity that supports every disabled person to overcome barriers and realise their potential through Electronic Assistive Technology.

By hosting weekly inclusive gaming sessions, Everyone Can makes sure everyone can get involved using assessible and bespoke solutions. Gaming is a vehicle to get people together and is a key part of childhood culture! They run their sessions for free to make sure anyone who needs their help can access it and we want to help them reach as many people as possible. £9.99 buys a game subscription for a month so gamers can choose from hundreds of activities to take part in.

£55 buys a new game controller so everyone can take part!

£75 buys an Xbox Assessible Controller (XAC) which allows for specialist joysticks and buttons to support anyone who struggles to use a standard computer.

£120 buys a selection of buttons that are placed around the body for people who can't press controller buttons.

£500 pays for an assessment where the team can find the best way to adapt technology to help someone to game.

£2,500 buys a full accessible gaming station including: specialist buttons, an XAC, mounting arms to place buttons around the body to harness a person's movement, eye tracking equipment , a game console, a monitor and a mobile gaming platform!
