Story

In September 2024, a team of Dyson explorers will embark on the challenge of a lifetime: climbing Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. Standing at over 19,300 feet above sea level, this majestic mountain demands determination, dedication, and plenty of energy.

For 7 days, we will trek through rugged terrain, pushing ourselves to the limit. We'll undergo acclimation sessions to prepare for the final day's summit. And if conditions permit, we'll have the incredible opportunity to witness the rare African ice caps and stand on the roof top of the continent.

Over the next 7 months, we will train tirelessly to ensure we are in peak physical condition for this monumental trek. But our journey is about more than personal achievement; it's about making a difference.

We are taking on this challenge in support of Alzheimer's Research UK. This cause is close to our hearts as we've witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of Alzheimer's disease on individuals and their loved ones.

By participating in 'Climbing Kili for a Cure,' we aim to raise valuable funds that will contribute towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's. Every penny donated goes directly to Alzheimer's Research UK.

We are incredibly grateful for your visit to this page and your support in our mission. Together, let's make a lasting impact in the fight against Alzheimer's!

Join us on this journey by donating today and help me reach my personal target amount of £1,500.
