Story
Hi!
In June, I will be swapping the dreadful bike lanes of London for the rolling hills of England, France and Belgium in support of those who have previously served as part of the Armed Forces.
I am teaming up with a diverse group of cyclists, including some who have served/are serving themselves, to embark on a 150-mile journey over two days. The route will start in Kent, take us through the countryside to Dover where we will take the Ferry to Calais, France. We will then cycle through France to Dunkirk and finish in Ypres, Belgium.
Our aim is to support Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) by raising funds in support of their important work.
The RBLI are the leading provider of employability services to the disabled and disadvantaged in the Armed Forces community. They provide vital employment support, advice and homes to those struggling on civvy street. None of our Armed forces personnel should struggle when leaving the forces and deserve all the help they need for the sacrifice they've made for us.
Thank you so much for your support in advance and I can't wait to wear Lycra and hold up traffic in more than one city!
