Story
In the middle of a global pandemic I, and my adopted charity Scope, turned 70. What better way to celebrate than to host a dual-birthday fundraiser!
Or so I thought…
Whilst Covid resulted in the initial event being postponed, I’m pleased to announce that we’re back on track for an evening of brilliant live music from the legendary 606 Jazz Club on 2nd June 2022.
Join us to hear a set of Steely Dan tunes, meticulously brought to life by some of the world’s greatest players (with Cheryl Crow, Oasis, Black Crows and King Crimson to their credit), as well as a set of my favourite Blues and R&B tunes, performed by yours truly on his favourite geetar ‘Little Lucille’.
I would love you all to be a part of this, so I will be sharing a live-stream link of the event as a way of saying thank you for all the support with my over-ambitious bike ride back in February.
All profits from this event will be donated to Scope to help continue their much-needed work. The implications of Covid have been huge for Scope and more widely for disabled individuals and their families. These challenges are far from over which is why we must continue to raise vital funds!
