We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So....both my Father and Grandfather suffered from dementia, my dad with alzheimers disease. It's a progressive disease that withers your personality over time. Great strides are now being made in research and trials into seeking appropriate support, medication and early diagnosis. Stats say 1 in every 3 people will be affected by dementia in some way.

I was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease last year. Some friends and family already know this. I am not SUFFERING from dementia, I am LIVING with dementia and living the best life possible.

I am now involved in trials and support groups and..... despite my recent vertigo issues....I have been supported to climb a 1000ft crane and zip line across the river Clyde.

This is not about me, nor the memories of my antecedents, its about my children, and their children, and future generations who will hopefully not have to endure seeing their parents withering away before their eyes.

So.....everyone.....please donate generously to this cause and sponsor my crazy stunt 🤪!!!!!!

Thank You 🙏
