I've been allocated to the Teddy Bear Playgroup Team for this 3 day, 234 mile cycle ride from Dumbarton on the west coast to Aberdeen on the east, via the mighty mountain pass up and over the Lecht. I've been set a personal fundraising target of £1000.

The Teddy Bear Playgroup is a 40 year old developmental playgroup charity based in Buckie, Scotland that provides specialist education, care and support for pre-school children with additional support needs and their families.

Many of the families do not have the means or ability to transport their children to the specialised nursery provision that they need and deserve, and this is what these donations will help to fund. it will enable a more equitable allocation of spaces at the playgroup and also allow the group to take the children on outings to the beach, park, swimming pool, soft-play centre etc., allowing them to enjoy a much wider variety of developmental experiences than their current situation allows.
