Arthur is undertaking this sponsored bike ride from Coast to Coast across the Isle of Man to raise funds for the LCHU (Leeds Congenital Heart Unit), where 6 years ago he had open-heart surgery. Sponsorship raised will help to fund the LCHU’s brilliant work though their supporting charity, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF).

Arthur loves football, cricket and cycling and is excelling in Year 6 Pannal Primary School. This year he moves up to Harrogate Grammar secondary school.

The Isle of Man Coast to Coast bike ride, is an ‘off road’ route along the Steam Heritage Trail - Douglas to Peel Castle, then back to Douglas – a 27 miles challenge with over 500 feet elevation gain.

Funds raised will go directly to CHSF which provides the funding and resources to care for a patient’s Heart (through life-saving medical equipment), Mind (via a restful and positive environment), Family (using a team of Family Support Workers and parent accommodation), and Future (by virtue of medical techniques, technologies and research).
