Story

Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page.

Gary Clayden, Rob Heminsley, Tim Butcher, Jon Farmer, Tom Crabtree & Matt Hunter, within the facilities team at BAE Systems, are taking on the "Race the Sun" challenge, in the lake District. It's mountain biking 18 miles, hike 11 miles up Skiddaw and canoe 2 miles round Derwent Water. To make it harder its a race between the smaller teams ! Please can you sponsor us for the event, so we can raise funds for the children's charity below.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.

Join our fight for little lives.
