After a lot of wine around Christmas time, my friends and I decided we would cycle from London to Paris, with the aim of raising money for charity.

This would be over 4 days, covering approximately 360 miles using only pedal power, ( apart from the ferry ) and leave from the UK on the 25th of September.

We had decided upon cardiomyopathy UK as my dear dad had been living with this disease since being diagnosed at the age of 49.

He was chuffed to bits with our charity choice and bursting with pride as was I.

Alas, sadly on the 8th of April 2024, my dad lost his 32 year battle against obstructive cardiomyopathy.

We as a family are all absolutely heartbroken and have lost a truly wonderful selfless dad/husband/grandad with the biggest heart and the kindest personality. Our hero.

So now more than ever I would like to raise as much money as possible to help others fighting this terrible heart disease.
